Who goes camping with their cat? Maegan does! Her cat, Walker, loves the car ride to camp as much as the destination, and Maegan loves spending this unique quality time together.  Walker is a special needs cat with cerebellar hyperplasia, making him a wee bit wobbly. But that doesn’t stop him from enjoying life to the fullest with Maegan at his side! Maegan is also mom to two other cats, PT and Mittens, and a little dog named Axel.

It’s only fitting that Maegan is surrounded by animals. Growing up in Fredericton, she had pets her entire life and has dedicated her professional life to caring for animals. Studying to be a veterinary technician at Oulton College in Moncton was an obvious choice, and she savoured every minute of schooling. Now a member of the Valley Vet team, Maegan fits right in with her diverse family of pets and dedication to making patients feel cared for, comfortable, and special.
